Greetings y'all...

Ron Scalzo (aka Q*Ball) here - I've worked at Z100 in many different capacities for a decade now.  Currently, I press buttons in the studio (usually while you're all asleep) & fill in for Scotty B. on the Zoo when he's out buying lottery tickets, clipping coupons, & making sure Boomer's not dead.

I was born & raised in Brooklyn.  I know Skeery Jones since we were 12 years old, and he is still as sexy as he was back then.  We grew up listening to Z100 back in the Scott Shannon/Kid Kelly/Jack Da Wack days.  Skeery won all the contests, I just rocked out to Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, and Taylor Dayne (ok...maybe not Taylor Dayne).

I am a musician with three self-released albums & an independent record label owner.  My label is called Bald Freak Music - check it out at www.baldfreak.com and let me know what you think of the artists I work with.  I am also a club DJ, and I play basketball, eat ice cream, and shave my head in my (rare) spare time.  But mostly, I am a music & movie junkie - I've seen over 2000 movies, and have over 1000 CDs and 800 albums on vinyl (remember vinyl?).  Back when I was in Junior High, they had a name for someone like me - "Nerd."

I finally caved in & joined the Z Zone.  I've always been a nonconformist.  Until now.  But even in an ever-changing world of mass media.....you can't deny the power of the Z!
