Last week a bunch of us got together for a "creative programming" meeting in NY. The day before the meeting Chris Costello and I were reviewing the agenda, and instead of another powerpoint presentation, we did a impromptu vid shoot to get the same point across.. if you know the staff, it will make sense.   So, this saturday it was "zone defense." Diane taught an all day jewelry class, so it was: myself, Luli and Rex. Total bonding. The best was cutting up luli's pancakes with my left hand, and pouring syrup while she sat on my lap, while giving rex a bottle (at a restaurant).

I am not big on resolutions, but it is refreshing to end the year with friends and family, and start fresh, with a new energy. Some of the thoughts/philosophies that will guide my actions:

Family first.

Wherever you are, thats the place to be (a Damone from Fast Times quote).

Stay in shape.

Work hard and smart. Make it happen (MIH).

Loud Music. Live music. 

Embrace change.

Lots of dinners with friends.

  With Scott and Lou at the Warfield a few years ago. We caught up with Scott over the holidays. I have to upload his Tai Chi demo after a few drinks, classic.

  (20 people coming over for xmas, this is our 9th year hosting!)

Monday I celebrated the holidays with our NY staff at a downtown club called People Lounge. Great time had by all, definitely felt the Holiday vibe.

Went to San Antonio the next morning, no Holiday vibe there or in Austin where I am now.

Today Chicago, tomorrow NY, then a drive to VT if all goes well.... Snow hitting. Family together, will definitely kick it off right. VERY excited to board w Diane, and to bring Luli to ski school.
