Backstreet’s Back, ALRIGHT! That’s right, BSB is back and they joined the station to celebrate the new release of their album Unbreakable with a meet and greet party.  I was very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to have met the Backstreet Boys last week and let me tell you, this has been a life long dream for me!  The first concert I had ever gone to was a Backstreet Boys concert and here I am still, years later still in love with them.  I have to admit, Nick Carter has been my celebrity obsession since I was 12, and when I was face to face with him, I froze like a deer in headlights.  It was bad, let me tell you!  He said hello to me and started talking to me, and all I did was smile and get maybe three words out.  I totally blew my shot, and everyone at the station hasn’t let me forget it! Oh well! Oh yeah by the way, he is 20x hotter in person! 

          Enough about how hot Nick is and how awesome my experience was, it’s time to chat about their new album.  I went out and bought it first thing in the morning and when I got to the store, they didn’t even have them out on the shelves yet.  I made one of the workers go in the back and bring out their albums and put them on the shelves.  I listened to their album all day and now have some new favorite songs that are playing on my I-pod non-stop!  Check out my Zone page by clicking on my picture where I have pictures posted from my memorable night!  Until next time Music fanatics and entertainment junkies…..*Kara Marie*

      Well hello there all you loyal listeners! Just like you, I am a HUGE fan of our station but the only difference between me and you, is that for the next couple of months I get to work with all the people that make the station shine! David Brody (Executive Producer of the Morning Zoo) not like he needs an explanation of who he is because he's kind of a big deal around here. Well, he gave me, Kara Marie, an internship that I feel is going to be an amazing experience. I started bright and early on September 3rd and have already done so much! I am a Media and Film major and the crew made sure to inform me that I would be doing a lot of great projects that would benefit my future such as, faxing over their breakfast orders, then going to pick up their breakfast, making copies, and picking up the newspapers. Awesome, right? Haha! That's not all I do, in the morning I get to work with Garrett and answer phones and get to chat it up with all you Morning Zoo fans. Make sure you call in so I can talk to you about all the craziness that goes on in the world of music and entertainment!
      I also get to go online and look through magazines to help out Elvis Duran and the Morning Zoo with the latest news so all of you hear it first here. How about those Vanessea Hudgens pictures? Anyway, I also get to work with TJ the DJ on editing some audio. I am learning how to use a program called Pro Tools and hopefully by the end of the semester I will be able to do it by myself!
      Now about the DJ's. They are all absolutely amazing! Elvis, Skeery Jones, David Brody, Carolina, Danielle, John Bell, TJ the DJ, Scotty B, Froggy, and Greg T are all incredibly talented and their personalities are just as outrageous off air as they are on! From my first day they all made me feel at home and if I ever need anything or have any questions, I never hesitate to ask.
      I love being a part of the Morning Zoo and truly hope this semester goes by slowly. I am going to try my best to post pictures and keep you up to date on all the madness that goes on behind the scenes. Make sure to make a Zone page and check out mine and the rest of the DJ'S.
