After a lovely 2 week vacation (how cool is it that even the interns get a vacation?) we are all finally back in the studio with The Zoo and I couldn't be happier about that. Over the past couple weeks I really haven't done too much since The Zoo was away and they didn't need the interns (or at least all of them) and spent a lot of time catching up with friends and relaxing. I've taken up two new hobbies that could easily take over my life: bike riding and Wii. So if I wasn't outside peddling around, I was glued to a couch with my friends playing Wii tennis for hours. Other than that I was just counting down the days until The Zoo came back and needed our assistance. Today was an interesting topic on the show about having a drink or a smoke before going to work. The calls that we got were hilarious and a bit absurd but thats what I love about answering the phones, hearing everyones crazy stories. I'll be back here bright and early tomorrow morning at 5am & will keep you posted about anything that's going on here at The Zoo!! But for now I have to go, we're in The Zoo Bullpen (where everyones desk's are) and discussing songs for Greg T to sing in tomorrows bit (my vote is Sweet Caroline!)

The past couple weeks have been a little crazy here at The Zoo... but so much has been going on! I've just been super busy with trying to keep all these rumors flying all over the place about the interns from getting out of hand, and its been hilarious.

So lets see, last week I made my debut on the air (wooo hooo) and was talking with The Zoo about my future date with TJ. It was fun except for the fact that TJ and I are already having 'issues' because of his accusations that I don't know enough about radio... ptsshhh....oh, and maybe the fact that he took Loren to a top notch steak house and he wants to take me to Chili's... Um. No. Not hating on Chili's, but if there's a chance I can go somewhere nice (I mean, The Zoo is paying!), then we will go there... Hopefully! So after The Zoo was finished, TJ and I sat down and discussed possible restaurants to go to, things are looking good for this date so far! But I'm excited for the free dinner and of course the alone time with TJ... wink wink. Shelley claims that she will be bringing her A game when the time comes, as do the other interns, but I will be bringing out the big guns. This little Dating Bit with TJ has officially become a huge competition between all the interns and may the best intern win!

Other than that, the past couple days have been great. Loren and I got to work together yesterday and both of us got to hang out with TJ while he was doing a Phone Tap and it was hysterical (the phone tap, not the fighting for TJ's affection-- kidding, Loren and I are just having good fun!) Then I got to work with ProTools for a few hours which was educational and would make Brody and even TJ proud.

Ok, well I don't want to write about TJ anymore because that's all everyone is talking about and I'll be writing about him more in the future blogs I'm sure. I hope everyone's week is going well! Have a good 4th of July and I'll keep you posted about my date with the big man here at The Zoo...

Oh hello there everybody!

So I've been working here with The Zoo for a little over a month and I
think its about time I posted some stuff here about what I've been up
too. Since being here, I've learned how to answer the phones and talk
with the listeners, help out with the websites, go through Phone Taps,
and I've also been lucky enough to attend a few meetings!

Each day is new and exciting, everyone who works here is just as crazy
and fun as they sound on the show and they know how to keep it
entertaining in the work place. For instance, on my first day I
arrived at 5 AM and was greeted by Greg T in his underwear with steaks
tied to his waist and legs... I know, you all wish that you could see
that first thing in the morning too, but too bad!

Then on my 2nd day working here, I was lucky enough to go with Greg T (fully clothed this time) to meet with listeners and smash car windows to Carrie Underwood's Hit "Before He Cheats". Any job that allows me to hang out with a hilarious guy and smash windshields is the job for me.

Things are going really well here, I look forward to coming in each
week and seeing what they have in store for us Interns. Well, I gotta
go back to the bullpen and get to 'work'.

 Oh hello there... For a blogging debut, I thought I would spice it up with some photos of my friends and I because I really have nothing interesting to write about at this moment.
