Well, here I am.  My wife Amy had to go back to work today after being on maternity leave for almost 4 months.  I took off from the show this week so I can take care of Ashley.  We are doing great!  It figures, as soon as I dropped Amy off at the Long Island Rail Road, we got home and already there was a poopie diaper!  I had no choice but to change it.  It wasn't pretty!  Unreal...she just did it again.  Twice in an hour!  She thinks it's hilarious.  This must be punishment for not changing poopie diapers until now.  Oh well.  All part of being a daddy.  If you'll excuse me, I have to go suck some boogers out of her nose.  Yay.  When can I go back to work???

Well...we left the hospital Thursday afternoon, and brought Ashley to see her room in her new house.  She also got to meet her big brother, Boomer!  He loves her!  He tries to lick her face from time to time, but otherwise he's really good to her and is already very protective.  Any time she makes a peep, he runs over to check on her.  Things are really good.  Amy is feeling a little better, and me?  Well, I haven't changed a diaper yet.  I know...that's messed up.  Maybe Amy just likes doing it so much?  Or maybe it's just because she knows I am really squeemish...not from a poopy diaper, but from the umbilical cord.  I can't look at it.  You're talking about a guy that passes out from a paper cut.  I'll get there eventually, just not yet.  These pictures are when we left the hospital, and Boomer meeting Ashley for the first time...

Here it is...day 2 on the planet for Ashley.  She is eating well and we are just so in love with her.  Lots of people came to visit us over the past few days.  My Zoo family came by, and so many great friends like Darren & his wife, Cubby, Stick, and too many more to mention.  Our incredible Doctor, Dr. Sbarra, comes to check on us every day, and just left.  We are here at the hospital until Thursday, when we finally get to bring Ash home.  Can't wait for our dog Boomer to meet his new little sister!  He's gonna be great with her.  Thanks for all your sweet comments and e-mails.  It means a lot to us...
