Fantasia. WOW.  She rocked the damn house!  She rocked us and  took us to church...all in one performance!  Her energy, her dancing, her backup singer/dancers...just incredible!  I loved it so much that I had to rewind and watch the performance again!  Fantasia was already good when she was on Idol, but she’s really turned into a seasoned professional since her Idol days.  If you weren’t into that performance, you just don’t understand soul music.  And that doesn’t make you a bad person…it just makes you a person that’s sadly missed out on some good soul music, lol!

I hope Syesha watched Fantasia tonight and learned a couple of things about how to really let go and sing from your heart, soul and gut!  Now it’s not really fair of me to compare Fantasia and Syesha because they’re two totally different kinds of artists.  And Syesha’s already a great singer with a beautiful voice, but she’s just missing that rawness and realness that artists like Fantasia have.  Anyway…

 David Archuleta’s the first contestant called to the stage.  I cried when they showed David crying during his trip back home to Utah.  How touching.

I was also moved by how much Syesha cried during her trip back home.  I got a kick outta seeing Syesha being so thrilled to ride in the helicopter!

Wait a minute…I think those were real tears David Cook was crying on his tape, lol!  But really, I was moved by him honoring his music teacher.  Btw, looking back at the old footage, I like David Cook’s look now waaay more than his look at the beginning of the season.

Alright, the moment’s finally here…And the contestant voted off American Idol tonight is…Syesha.  So my few little votes for her last night didn’t mean a thing L  But Syesha should leave the show with pride, knowing that she did an outstanding job during Season 7! 

And the two contestants battling it out to be our new American Idol next week are David Archuleta and David Cook.  Let the battle of the two Davids begin!
