 When I started my internship with Elvis Duran and The Morning Zoo in the beginning of January, I honestly didn't know what to expect. I had never done an internship before and there were so many questions running through my mind. What is radio all about? What is everyone going to be like? What am I going to be doing, and why did they choose me? Well, eight months later all of those questions have been answered except one. I still don't know why they chose me, but I'm sure glad they did.

I can't even begin to explain how much this experience has changed my life. When I first started here in January I had an interest in radio however, I wasn't sure to what degree. I came here wanting to learn as much as I could about the industry in efforts to help me decide in which direction I wanted to take my career. While i'm still not sure where I will end up, I can say for sure that radio will play a significant role throughout my journey.

Thank you so much to David Brody (he's who I interviewed with) for inviting me into this wonderful family known as Elvis Duran and the Morning Zoo. This show is made up of a unique group of people who each play a different role.

Grandpa John Bell represents the intelligent

So...On June 27th I became another year older.  When I was a kid I waited all year for that one day and I loved getting older.  Now that I am older i'm starting to dread my birthday more and more every year.   I mean according to the Jewish Community I should be married with a few kids by now.  Every wedding I go to all I hear is "soon by you" or "ur next".  I get asked all the time if I have a boyfriend and when I say no the next line is always "Good because I have a nice guy who would be perfect for you". Haha..you gotta love it!

A friend of mine reminded me of a conversation I had with her last year on my B-day.  I told her that this was gonna be my year and that I wanted to actually make things happen in my life.  I made a promise to her and myself that I was gonna go out and kick start my career and try and make at least one step towards realising some of my goals.  I definitly honored that and now I have a part time position at Z100 which is not a bad start.  The reason she reminded me of this conversation is because I said the same thing to her this year.   So hopefully a year from now I will be in an even greater space and I will have made even more advances than i've made this year.  I cant wait to see where i'm going to be a year from now but I have a feeling this is going to be a good year and I can't wait to experince it.  

Anywayz I had a really great birthday this year. I got a lot of calls this year.  I mean you know you have the regulars that you expect to hear from that if you dont you think something is wrong but I also got calls from people that I wasnt expecting which was really nice.  I went out to dinner with my family and when we  got home my mom and brothers (not my daddy because he is in Israel) sang Happy Birthday and bought me the cutest most delicous cake.  It was vanilla with pick frosting.  I had like 4 pieces.  They also gave me cards and presents.  After that a few of my friends took me out for drinks in the city.  Very cute and low key which is what I wanted.  I mean it was a Wed night and I had to be at the Zoo in the morning.   Then on Sat we went to Buddah Bar in the city to have the party portion.  Lets just say I dont remember too much about that night lol.  In conclusion I must say it was a great B-day but I cant say that im looking forward to the next one.
