My #1 video: the best video out now is... The best video will always and forever be Troops.
The best Z100 DJ is... They all seem pretty dang awesome
Dream concert... Runrig in a scottish castle. My friend got to go to one, I was jealous.
My all-time favorite movie is... Star Wars, Jurassic Park, The Incredibles, Spider Man, Amelie, Moulin Rouge, Serenity, Transformers: The Movie, Troy, Alexander, Caligula. Certainly some others.

What I want you to know about me... slightly over-educated, slightly geeky (although some would argue that is an understatement). I live in Norman, OK - you can actually see cattle in the pasture that runs behind my backyard. Beyond this whole 'Web 2.0' experience, I like the whole standard reading, movies, etc that you might expect. I get way too great a kick out of all things Ancient Roman or Ancient Greek, and a bit of an overboard Star Wars fan.

    Geographical Ignorance!

Wednesday, August 29, 2007, 02:45 PM EST [General]

So yes, and Miss South Carolina herself proves it, American's have no understanding of geography, the world, what's going on, where's it's happening, or what we are fixing/messing up around the world. But what can you expect - the entire western hemisphere was discovered by European explorers ignorant of geography. Sure, they didn't have satellite or classroom maps, but you can't expect kids nowadays to learn geography when the people who first landed on the shores of America thought they had finally circled around the world and run into China. If some of the greatest explorers in history didn't even need to know geography to become so great and acclaimed, why should our kids?

    Right?

    Right?
