Eric's on a road trip this weekend and he's taking you along! Overpriced gas didn't stop him from getting behind the wheel, putting the top down and hitting the highway.
He skipped the typical tourist traps on this trip... no "World's Most Giantest Ball Of Foil" or "Fred's Amazing Emporium Of The Mundane." He drove right past the "Best Almond Pecan Praline Deep Fried Divinity Fudge In Two Counties" and didn't even consider stopping to take pictures at "Two Concrete Dinosaurs In The Middle Of Nowhere For No Reason" (though I wish he had). Why would he when he had already programmed his "News To Me" GPS navigation system for destinations like this:
What a bunch of bull:
Crazy iReporter Adam goes running with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain! Watch this while you are on the treadmill for extra added realism.
Fifth wheel fiasco:
You've seen those signs on low overhangs and freeway overpasses that warn vehicles over a certain height not to drive under them, right? This guy didn't and a security cam caught it all. The News Team has new pictures from a citizen journalist on the scene of the accident that you won't believe.
I'll give something to blubber about:
Next stop Barrow, Alaska to take part in an Eskimo whale hunt and see how it inspired a Webby Award Winning web site.
I spy, with my little eye:
Two amazing iReports...
1. It's one thing when a raccoon or neighborhood dog gets into your garbage... but imagine what kind of damage an animal with opposable thumbs could do!
2. You waited in line for a new iPhone and then you found out that texting is extra and you still can't shoot video or voice dial calls on it. At least you don't have to pedal a bike to charge the battery like the guys in this iReport.
Speaking of bikes and phones:
A guy in New Delhi gives new meaning to the phrase "hands free cellphone," and he's on a MOTORCYCLE! The video is hysterical and amazing!
Pretentious pusssy next three exits:
Henri the cat, wants you to know his suffering. He also wants you to know that he speaks French. The News Team has got his video diary. You news readers also get a special Henri bonus video! Henri the cat's translator Will Braden reciting his original cat haiku.
If you need a road map, The News Team will have all those destinations laid out for you in the blog.
Don't forget to take a rest stop at the Caption This contest!
You ARE going to watch this weekend right? Don't make Eric pull this car over and come back there!
Warning: Bulls, Blubber and a Banzai Biker ahead! (News To Me For This Weekend!)
