I hope you had a fabulous weekend. Mine was really laid-back and relaxing. Wow, this weight issue has been a battle for me for quite a few years now and I'm determined to not only fight it, but to beat it. That's why I'm on the Smart for Life Program. I'm really excited that I've already lost 14 pounds on the Smart for Life Program! I was on the air pretty late Saturday. I'm normally on air from 10am to 2pm, but Niko and I switched shifts so that he could head to the Jersey Shore for his Club Z broadcast. Since I wouldn't be on the air until 7pm, I decided to get some exercise in. I went to the 8:30am aqua aerobics class for an hour. Afterwards, I rushed home for a shower. Then I took a walk along the Hudson River with my trainer Chad. The general idea here is to continue to take care of myself. I'm eating right on the Smart for Life program and I'm making sure my heart is healthy by getting in some cardio. It's a constant struggle for me, but it's been easier in the last month because I'm now on the Smart for Life program. I can't urge you enough...if you want to lose weight, try the Smart for Life program. If I can do it, so can you.

Since I've already lost 14 pounds on the Smart for Life Program, I can really see a difference when I look in the mirror. I can also tell the difference when I try on my clothes. I've been able to wear shirts and blouses that were too tight for me before I started with Smart for Life! Most of my jeans are fitting much looser and I constantly have to pull my pants up! Just the other day when I was walking to the train with my co-worker Peter, he said, ‘You're doing really well on the Smart for Life Program...I can really tell you're doing a good job on it.' It's one thing when you can tell that you've lost weight, but it's an even more exciting thing when others start noticing that you've lost weight! But I have to keep in mind that this is only the beginning. I've got to stay focused and remember that I've got lots of weight to lose and this is not the time to become complacent. The fact that I've lost 14 pounds with Smart for Life keeps me motivated. I'm dedicated and committed to losing even more weight with Smart for Life. You can do it too! So I just started on the Smart for Life program. I have to say, I was a little bit nervous starting the program because I'm not so good with making commitments. I guess it's the freedom-loving Sagittarian in me, lol! But I've gotten to a weight that requires that commitment and discipline to lose it. Now don't get me wrong, I don't think that thin will make me more beautiful because whether we're thin or thick, big or small.we're all beautiful in our own way. I just know that being thinner than what I am now will make me healthier.
