Couldn't help but notice that people are frustrated with the trade-ins. Here are a few things to keep in mind while hanging out in the ZVIP Zone!
Z100 loves our listeners but we are not a warehouse full of prizes. We have a limited amount of items to offer you guys. In order to get more things we need our sales partners to supply us with prizes. Keep in mind that you are winning these things for free.
Why do things sell out so quickly? This is probably what's bugging you the most. When we first launched this program back on December 14th everyone started out on an even plane. You all had 0 points, however, at this point there are at least 100 people with 85,000 points. The top points leader has 198, 500 points. Therefore there are a lot of people with points and they are always checking out the site. So when something becomes available they buy it.
Why are things more expensive now? As previously stated everyone started of with 0 points but now that the top points leader has almost 200,000 points we are going to increase the cost of prizes. Why are we doing this? Because it wouldn't be fair for the people who have a ton of points to buy multiple prizes and they can easily do that if we set things for 55,000 points for an iPod. At 90,000 they have to spend almost half of their points to get it. This way it will help someone else get something further down the line.
From now on every trade-in will be listed as coming soon with the time that it will become available. It will not go on sale 1 minute earlier than the time listed. If it's only one item then the person that gets it first will win it. As for the speculation of whether we actually have these prizes and do we really give them away? Yeah we do, everyone who has won has gotten their prize ask around and you'll see.
So we are sorry that you guys are not too happy with the system but a year ago you didn't even have the option to win anything just for hanging out online. You had to enter contest where it only let you enter one time. You can always play the raffles as well, they are much cheaper to enter and you can enter as many times as you want.

I THINK THE THING TO DO IS INDICATE HOW MANY OF THE ITEM IS ACTUALLY AVAILABLE TO BE WON BY THE MEMBERS, SO IF THE PRIZE SAYS "SOLD OUT" AFTER WAITING AND REFRESHING THE PAGE EVERY MINUTE IN HOPE OF OF BEING LUCKY, IF THERE WAS ONLY ONE OF THE ITEM, THEN WE CAN BRUSH IT OFF AND SAY " EH.. IT WAS ONLY ONE AND PERHAPS I WASN'T QUICK ENOUGH!" HOWEVER PRIZE OR NOT WE LISTEN AS LOYAL FANS AND WHEN THE PRIZES CAME ALONG IN DECEMBER IT CREATED INCENTIVE AND JOY TO FINALLY BE ABLE TO PARTCICPATE IN SOMETHING FUN FROM OUR FAVORITE RADIO STATION. IT ALSO CREATED REFERRALS HENCE,CREATING MORE LISTENERS. YES, IT'S FREE, BUT MEMBERS ARE UPSET BECAUSE WE ASSUME THERE IS AN AMPLE AMOUNT OF PRIZES MONITORING THE PRIZE PAGE IN HOPES OF WINNING.

i'm very grateful about the prizes that you guys put up, i was a little frustrated at first, but i knew that the prizes were distributed out to those who see that it is available first. i think that letting participants know when the prize is going to be available is the best thing you can do because it'll be easier to know when prizes are available and that will reduce the number of complaints (it won't seem like a scam). I also agree on the inflation of the prizes..it makes sense because some people have A LOT of points (like me). so...it's on guys!! lol good luck.
People are complaining that you don't post the quantity available, which is stated in the rules that it should. "All Awards offered will show quantity available and will be redeemed on a first-come, first-served basis."

Rules also state: From time to time Z100 may decrease or zero out the Points in all ZVIP accounts. At those times all accounts will either start at zero Points or be decreased by an amount or percentage to be determined by Z100 and all unused Points will no longer be valid. Members will be notified if and when the Points deduction will take place." I realize this would probably make more of an annoyance, but you are the keymaster, exercise your rules.

I hate to point out the rules, but I am just trying to respond to complaints or rebuttals, whether seen as positive or negative. Oh, and if you haven't already please put some sort of restraint on user "Kimlee/mommy2kion"'s account. She is filling the board with spam, making post after post promoting a child for the 'baby contest'.
